The wisdom of Kabbalah has become prevalent in our time since it is closely related to the end of the age of Exile and the establishment of the State of Israel. The foundations of this endeavor were laid by the two great figures of our generation, the two great lights, Kabbalists Rav Avraham Itzhak HaCohen Kook (1865-1935) and Rav Yehuda Leib HaLevi Ashlag (Baal HaSulam, 1884-1954). Rav Kook and Baal HaSulam both chose to phrase their ideas in current terms. The two share similar ideas and similar solutions to problems which are as relevant today as they were fifty years ago.
