Beyond the limits of our senses and our sensations exists a wonderful spiritual world of absolute goodness. You can become part of this world and actually feel it if you only desire to. But how can you desire something you have never felt before? In order to feel this world we need the guidance of someone who is already in it, and who can tell us about it. If he talks about how great it is there, we would also want to reach the same place. Kabbalists are those who see, taste and feel the Upper World. We absorb their words which tell us what the flavor of life is, and those who listen to them are drawn their way. As they guide us, a desire of that world begins with an initial feeling of awe. By hearing someone telling us that something is good, this feeling of awe increases. The writings of Kabbalists have a special attribute called "the Light that reforms." This unique Light is found in the holy books written by the greatest Kabbalists who have attained spirituality. This Light affects the soul and grants it "the grace of Divinity." This force changes our being and develops a new sense inside us which actually enables us to become part of whatever is in that world. The Light which comes from the spiritual world, through the writings of Kabbalists, creates a new sense inside us-a spiritual sense. There is no other way to develop this sense. In our world we are impressed by others who attain the world the same way we do. They may taste something good, for example, and tell us that we should try it. But how could we be impressed by the Upper World if it were not for these special texts, written by those who have tasted and seen it.
